Memo to Athletes, Parents, Coaches, and the Global Diving Community

My vision for the TriSynerG Camp, Club, and Store here at Indiana University

My mission for several decades has been to provide the best diving training programs for beginners, developing athletes, high school/college competitors, and international stars. I believe with conviction that, for all ages and ability levels, the "best" is achieved only with a balanced blend of sport, culture, and education. This balanced approach, epitomizing the original Olympic vision, is critical to maximizing success in diving, in sport, and in life.

In order to continue to implement this vision, our organization has built a staff with the same vision and capabilities. Over the next several years we will be extending our developmental offerings to include leading-edge diving training and educational opportunities, cultural and ethical athletic development, and an enhanced focus on health and wellness of the body, mind and spirit to deliver the best athletes in the history of sport. All these efforts will be under the name TriSynerG which represents my belief that being the best one can be in sport, culture, and education has a synergistic effect.

To that end, my wife Jenny and I built an organization with strengths in key areas to successfully implement our vision:

Jenny Keim-Johansen is the co-founder and intricate part of this business. She is the Assistant Diving Coach of the Olympic Performance Squad that train here in Bloomington, Indiana. She works with me daily to coach the athletes, assist with the synchronized teams, and oversee season planning and travel. Her experience as an athlete and as a coach are priceless assets to our Olympic Performance Squad as they prepare for the Olympics in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil in August 2016. Jenny was a gymnast under Bela Karolyi, as a diver was a two-time NCAA champion and a three-time US finalist in the Olympics (1996, 2000), all done while earning her bachelor’s degree with honors, cum laude from the University of Miami. Jenny has served as a Head Diving Coach in two different power-five universities, and has coached many Junior Olympic champions and a NCAA champion. Jenny has a complete understanding of the technical, physical, educational, and personal development needs of divers as they progress into excellence. Her email address is Jenny@TriSynerG.com.

Steve Keim is a senior level consultant for TriSynerG. He has spent a career in marketing and business development, with a focus on service businesses and childhood development. His background includes study and publishing in psychology, international experience, and years at the helm of numerous business ventures. He provides the operational skills and entrepreneurial spirit that any successful business needs. His email address is Operations@TriSynerG.com.

We also have also retained a support staff of social media professionals, videographers, and photographers to reinforce the roughly 35 coaches and counselors supporting our developmental effort. The social media, photography, and videography experts will continue to build the diving video library and help publish results (and dives) of meets for the diving community.

I will continue to focus on coaching and educating. Importantly, I will continue to stay on the leading edge of this sport to deliver a positive impact on every person that participates in our program at the club, camp, collegiate and Team USA level. These efforts will include the innovative use of technology, psychology, bio-feedback, and videography to improve our application of the water belts, dryland facility, and to create new training techniques. My email address is Drew@TriSynerG.com.

I will also use my continuing position as a Team USA Coach to maximize these athletes’ results by implementing the TriSynerG philosophies at the highest level of the sport. I am confident that we are taking the steps necessary to create a rich and comprehensive diving program which will advance the sport, our divers, and the role of sport in developing our future leaders.
